After many requests from Online Showoff members to join our club I must post that we are a LOCAL CLUB ONLY, not a national or internet club. Also, we must meet potential members and get to know them for a minimum of 6 weeks before final decisions are made about pertinent membership. This is for evaluation purposes to make sure the potential member possesses the morals, standards, personality, and friendship qualities that we seek in this club. We are all good friends and we consider our club a big family. Please do not request to join our club if you are not local and cannot participate in any events.
Speed Syndicate Racing was founded in in 1998. Were a bunch of truly multicultural friends that kick it together and love to modify our cars. Our cars range from show and race winners to new beginners. Anyone is given a chance just as long as there is potential in their car, the drive to modify it and most of all the person has to be able to get along with everyone and not be a trouble maker. STREET RACING IS NOT ALLOWED AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED WITHIN OUR CLUB!!
We are not exclusive to imports or domestics. As a matter of fact, we pride ourselves in being different and unusual. We enjoy being the club that stands out from the rest of the clubs out there. So if you have an odd ball car that you have turned into something special, we welcome you. Just as long as you are determined and have the will to help make this club better and stronger. Of course the mainstream modified vehicles are always welcome as well.
We have dues of $20 per month due on the first meeting of the month, and in order to become a member you must attend 5 consecutive meetings and attend all events that we participate in. Of course there are valid excuses for missing meetings and events, but it is your responsibility to inform us of in advance if you are unable to participate.
Potential members are required to be active members of our forum as well as our yahoo group and must register ASAP if they want to be considered for membership. This shows us how interested and serious the prospective member is in joining us. This also allows us to get to know you better.
New prospects are only allowed to run our banner after they have successfully completed their attendance of 5 consecutive meetings and proven themselves worthy of and dedicated to the club.
We are actively recruiting now and are especially seeking motorcycles and women to join our ranks. Variety is always a good thing.

The 2nd Annual Toys for Tots Car Show will be held on Sunday Dec 11, 2005 at the Pacific Palms Conference Resort in the City of Industry, CA. Address: One Industry Hills Pkwy City of Industry, CA 60 Fwy, Exit Azusa and go north towards the Large Hotel located on the hill by itself. All vehicle styles and ages are welcomed. Show registration is now $30 which includes drivers lunch and a raffle ticket Enter "Speed Syndicate" as your 15+ group for $25 registration (includes lunch, Starbucks coffee and a raffle ticket) Spectators are always free, but everyone is asked to bring a new unwrapped toy worth at least $10. Evolution-One: IDRC's new judged car show. Featured at ten IDRC events across the nation, the Evo-1 car show series has ten judged classes, plus "Best In Show." Never worry about people's choice voting again - now all contestants are judged by IDRC-approved officials. The car show will be held on Sunday and usually the gates open at 9am. LACR is 45 minutes from the San Fernando Valley just off the Antelope Valley freeway on Palmdale's Eastside.
From Los Angeles take the 5 Frwy. North to the 14 Frwy. North (Antelope Valley Frwy.) get off at Pearblossom Hwy. take it til it crosses 138 it will turn into East Avenue T, LACR is one mile down Avenue T on the right hand side.
