Biography of DaRuN…
If life is round, then soon you will understand why DaRuN (Da-Run) will be a legend. During a time of war, when the Communists took over the Government of Cambodia, many people were forced into slavery and others was killed at a tremendous amount. In this era of time, this place was called “The killing Fields”, a genocidal warfare. Where 8 of10 people were killed randomly by young communists of power. I was born during this destruction of injustice and imprisonment. With no doctor or hospitals during birth, shortly after with just a few months from my birth date, my family and I escaped from this human prison system, running through minefields and deathtraps risking our lives for a chance of freedom. Soon after, we arrive in America when I was at a tender age of 1 year old. Brooklyn, NY (Flatbush Ave. area) was where I reside and grew up. Being Asian, growing up in a poor neighbor hood where the majority race are African Americans, I was forced to learn how to deal with poverty, racism , crime, drugs and gang violence. But no matter how negative my surroundings were, I always loved and have a talent for art, music and instruments. It was my remedy and answer to all the problems that’s trapped deep inside of me. 20 years and a million tears later, I was producing, singing and rapping. With a determined mind and a heart full of soul and ambitions, I started my own independent music label company called Heavenly Ent. Gifted with a good sense for music and talent, I understand what it takes to be in the music industry of success. My music can be described as revolutionary, soulful, truthful, stylish and versatile. Faced to overcome challenges from genocide at birth, to racism and poverty growing up, achieving recognition and success in the entertainment world is my next battle. Let’s see who will end up on top, cuz I can’t give up! Biography of YoungPrez… Born fifteen years ago in Brooklyn, New York, I started my life at the birthplace of hip hop. Growing up, I saw that my family was struggling to come up. I remember times when I wanted to spend time with my parents but I couldn't because they were too busy working. There were times when I would be in school and there would be parent - student activities, and I could never get it in it. I never understood why it had to be like that, but now as I grew older I thank them for doing what they did. As we came up, we moved to Atlanta, Ga. where I’m currently located. This is where my love for music blossomed. As a young child, I listened to everything from dance, raggae, hip hop, r&b, pop, old school, and even latin music. This is why my style is so versatile. Inspired by my uncle Darun, I first picked up a pen and paper and wrote my first song when I eleven years old. I never thought that such a young child could live through so much emotion and stress. So I learned to take this kind of stuff out on my writing. My tracks cover everything from love, war, revenge, life, beautiful girls, ugly girls, and even how a day in school is for me. I just release everything that I have in me and so much more. I believe that my only destination is the top. With me, it’s either everything or nothing at all. I put my all into what I do, and if I find a flaw, I don’t move on until it's fixed. Our movement is a strong one, so you have to respect it. Comments
